Built from thick-walled (3-mm) steel tubing and clad with 1.6-mm sheet metal, the framework offers great strength and durability, while minimising overall mass to 1690 kg. Placing heavy driving components towards the back of the Uri achieves an optimal mass distribution, which results in less rolling resistance and improved traction, and explains the Uri’s excellent performance over rubble and other loose surfaces.
The Uri’s off-road performance is further enhance by a long-travel suspension in both front and rear, providing a high ground clearance, agility and driving comfort. The vehicle is designed and built for economically transporting people and goods over any terrain, thick sand and tarred streets etc.
